Dear Fiona, our wedding day was the most memorable day with all of our family and friends with us, sunshine, a glade, fine food and fine wine- we shall never forget it. We can't thank you enough though, for the stunning photos they captured all of the wonderful moments - and it means we re-live the day every time we see them! Your commitment, enthusiasm, sense of humour and of course packhorse skills were truly fantasic!

After meeting with several photographers we decided on Fiona due to her down to earth nature and modern approach to photography. Fiona really listened to what we wanted and advised us on new approaches in photography to make our album up to date with a real contemporary feel.

We had several meetings with Fiona leading up to the day, including a site visit to ensure every detail was taken care of. It also gave us a chance to build a good relationship with Fiona which gave us great confidence for the big day. On the day we both felt relaxed, Fiona put us at ease and we enjoyed getting our photographs taken. She was unobtrusive, extremely professional and took a great range of photographs. We had such a choice of pictures and ended up with an album nearly double the size we originally chose due to the amount of great photo's Fiona took.

Being a wedding photographer is a great joy and I feel so lucky to share such a special day with each couple. In return I capture those special moments on camera and provide you with memories that will last forever.

My approach to wedding photography, and my business generally, is friendly, informal and with a real personal touch. I like to create a great rapport with each couple from the beginning so it will always be me who speaks to you on the phone, answers your emails, meets with you to run through your requirements and photographs the day. All these things make it easier to build a trusting relationship which means I can be a part of your wedding, and get those great individual shots, rather than just being 'the photographer'.

I shoot in a way that blends group portraiture, some directed shots that allow fun and interaction with the bride, groom and their wedding party with a more natural, reportage style that captures key spontaneous moments and the emotions and happiness of the day. I make a point of working in a discrete way, leaving you to enjoy the celebrations.

Many years working in fashion and art directing have taught me that the best images have a quality of freshness and spontaneity. Some of my all-time favourite shots have been taken at caught moments when someone is not aware they are having their photo taken.
